A 23-year-old male student died Wednesday morning after falling from the platform of LRT-1’s Fernando Poe Jr. Station in Quezon City.
The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m., and the victim was pronounced dead on-site.
LRMC and local authorities responded immediately, and train operations were not affected.
Police are investigating whether the fall was accidental, intentional, or involved foul play, and are gathering witness statements.
Authorities are also determining if a passing vehicle struck the student and whether the driver may be held liable.
