STRONGER MARITIME TIES: PH AND DENMARK DISCUSS COAST GUARD PARTNERSHIP

The Philippines and Denmark are exploring enhanced cooperation between their coast guards to address maritime challenges and promote regional security. 

The partnership aims to strengthen joint efforts in combating illegal fishing, environmental protection, and maritime law enforcement. 

During a recent meeting, both nations emphasized the importance of knowledge-sharing and capacity-building to improve their respective operations. 

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) highlighted the potential benefits of learning from Denmark’s advanced maritime technologies. 

The move reflects both countries’ commitment to ensuring safe and secure seas.
