The full-length trailer for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” starring Tom Holland has shattered records, amassing 718.6 million views within 24 hours of its release.
The trailer reintroduces Peter Parker, dealing with the aftermath of “No Way Home” as he navigates life in New York while facing new threats, including the Punisher and Scorpion.
It also hints at returning and new characters, such as Bruce Banner and Sadie Sink, while exploring changes in Peter’s powers that could prove dangerous.
The trailer surpassed previous records held by the “Deadpool and Wolverine” and “No Way Home” trailers, as well as the “Grand Theft Auto VI” trailer, marking it the most-viewed trailer in a single day.
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is set to premiere in Philippine cinemas on July 29.
