Rose Nono Lin, wife of Lin Weixiong, has denied any involvement in her husband’s alleged drug-related activities, even as the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) links him to the drug trade. PDEA chief Virgilio Lazo confirmed on November 7 that Lin, the financial manager of Pharmally Pharmaceutical, is included in their intelligence reports as a drug personality. The confusion stems from the use of various aliases by Lin, including “Allan Lin” and “Jeffrey Lin,” with the PDEA’s informants linking him to drug dealings, which his wife disputes. Rose Nonolin has repeatedly stated that the person identified in the PDEA’s intelligence is not her husband, despite testimonies confirming his ties to several drug-related operations. Lin’s business dealings with former presidential economic adviser Michael Yang further complicate the issue, as they are linked to a network of companies under investigation for drug trade activities.
