The wife of businessman Lin Wei Xiong, Rose Nono Lin, has denied allegations that her husband is a high-profile drug personality named Allan Lim, as claimed by dismissed police colonel Eduardo Acierto.
Nono Lin stated that the accusations were based on unverified information in Acierto’s 2019 report, which linked Lin to Michael Yang, a former Duterte adviser implicated in the drug trade.
She challenged Acierto to file formal charges in court to address the false claims, emphasizing that her husband is a legitimate businessman.
Nono Lin also clarified that her husband is known as Lin Wei Xiong and Jeffrey, but not Allan.
She reiterated her cooperation with the House quad committee’s inquiry into the war on drugs, where former PDEA chief Wilkins Villanueva also confirmed that the person linked to drugs is not her husband.
