Rhenz Abando, the Asian import for Anyang Jung Kwan Jang in the Korean Basketball League (KBL), has broken his silence about the unfortunate injury he suffered two weeks ago during a collision with Goyang Sono Skygunners’ reinforcement Chinanu Onuaku. On Saturday, Abando provided an update on his recovery, acknowledging the incident that led to Onuaku’s fine for actions deemed ‘intentional’ by fans.
Criticism was directed at the KBL for perceived inadequacies in their sanctions against Onuaku. Abando’s camp is reportedly considering legal action in response to the incident.
Despite the setbacks, Abando, who was delivering impressive stats of 9.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assists prior to the injury, is urging his supporters and Anyang’s fans to be patient. Vowing a comeback, he expressed determination to return to the court from his current state.
