Large-scale Pride marches and festivals are set to take place on June 27 in Manila and Quezon City, as Metro Manila Pride and Pride PH lead separate but simultaneous celebrations for Pride Month. Metro Manila Pride will hold its main march and festival at Remedios Circle in Malate under the theme “Bukas, Atin.
Atin ang kasaysayan. Atin ang Bukas,” emphasizing collective ownership of LGBTQ+ history and future, while Pride PH will stage its “LoveL4ban” event at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
Both gatherings will feature performances, advocacy programs, and community activities highlighting love, identity, and equality.
Organizers said the events aim to strengthen visibility and solidarity while advancing LGBTQ+ rights and representation in the country.
The simultaneous marches are expected to draw participants from across Metro Manila in celebration of Pride Month.
