QCGH STANDS OUT AS THE TOP LGU HOSPITAL IN THE PHILIPPINES

Quezon City General Hospital (QCGH) has been named one of the Philippines’ top hospitals by New York–based Newsweek, ranking 24th nationwide, Mayor Joy Belmonte announced.

It is the only Level 3 local government hospital in the Top 33, with 10 fully accredited departments and a fellowship training program.

The ranking, conducted with Statista, assessed 2,500 hospitals globally based on expert recommendations, patient experience, and hospital quality metrics.

Established in 1968 with a 250-bed capacity, QCGH also pioneers fellowship programs in geriatric medicine and advanced radiology, while earning recognition for ethical governance and innovative women’s health initiatives.

Belmonte emphasized that the honor reflects the city’s commitment to delivering exceptional, high-quality healthcare services to its residents.
