The Quezon City Black Bulls are making a strong impression in the MPBL Season 8 preseason, winning four of their six games.
Key victories include an 80-79 win over the Bataan Risers, highlighted by MJ Joson’s 16 points and 14 rebounds, and a 70-69 triumph over the Batangas Tanduay Rum Masters, led by Pat Buena’s 19 points.
The team also defeated Sarangani and Bacolod but fell to Abra Solid North and Biñan Tatak Gel.
Quezon City First District Congressman Juan Carlos “Arjo” Atayde praised the players’ competitive spirit and expressed hopes of discovering more local talent.
