Puregold Price Club Inc., led by tycoon Lucio Co, reported a 7.1% increase in net income to P5.3 billion for the first half of the year.
The retailer’s consolidated revenues rose 11.6% to P109.9 billion, driven by strong grocery sales and stable margins.
Same-store sales grew by 6.4% for Puregold outlets, while S&R Warehouse clubs saw a 4.7% increase.
As of June 2025, Puregold operates 764 stores nationwide, including 666 Puregold stores and 31 S&R outlets.
The company’s steady growth highlights its continued expansion and strong market presence.
