President Marcos departed for Osaka, Japan, to attend the World Expo and meet with business groups and the Filipino community.
This marks his 34th overseas trip since assuming the presidency in 2022.
The President aims to promote the Philippine pavilion, which highlights the country’s rich culture and natural beauty, to boost tourism.
He will also hold meetings with South Korean firms to encourage investment in the semiconductor and shipping industries.
Meanwhile, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin and other officials will serve as caretakers during his visit, with Marcos expected to return this weekend.
