The Senate plans to invite alleged Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) kingpin Lin Xunhan, also known as Lyu Dong, to testify in its investigation of illegal POGO activities.
Lin, arrested last week, is believed to be involved in scam hubs in Pampanga and Tarlac and dismissed Bamban mayor Alice Guo.
Senators want Lin to provide information on his role and connections within the POGO syndicate, as well as his relationship with Guo.
Meanwhile, former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque and his wife, Mylah Roque, are under investigation for their alleged ties to illegal POGO operations.
The Bureau of Immigration revealed that Mylah left for Singapore in early September, ahead of a lookout bulletin issued against her, while the House continues to coordinate with the DOJ and DFA regarding her return.
