Senator Grace Poe has called for an investigation into the disappearance of community cats from a Pasig City condominium complex, where residents have been caring for them through the volunteer group Cats of Satori (COS).
The group has been providing responsible care by feeding, sheltering, and sterilizing the cats, but several have gone missing since January under unclear circumstances.
Poe urged the property management to explain the situation and called on local barangay officials to help locate the missing cats and hold those responsible accountable.
She emphasized that promoting animal welfare is a shared responsibility among the community.
COS is also demanding transparency and access to CCTV footage to clarify what happened to the missing cats.
