PNP EXPANDS POLICE PRESENCE TO ALL BARANGAYS FOR ENHANCED SAFETY

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil has ordered the deployment of officers to all 42,029 barangays across the country to enhance public safety.

Marbil emphasized the importance of securing both vulnerable and geographically isolated areas, stating that “the safety of our citizens begins in the barangays.”

This initiative aims to strengthen the Pulis sa Barangay program, which has been effective in reducing crime, terrorism, and illegal drug activities.

Marbil’s directive underscores the PNP’s commitment to ensuring that every community is adequately protected.
