PLDT High Speed Hitters cemented their budding PVL dynasty after capturing the Invitational Conference crown Sunday night at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Filipino squad overcame Japan’s Kobe Shinwa University in four sets, 21-25, 31-29, 25-22, 25-18, to complete a second straight perfect title run and extend their unbeaten streak to 13 games.
Savi Davison shone with 20 points, 18 excellent receptions, and nine digs, while Kianna Dy added 17 points, including the title-clinching block.
Rookie Jules Samonte and veteran Mika Reyes also played key roles, with Kim Fajardo orchestrating the offense and Kath Arado anchoring the defense.
Creamline, meanwhile, secured the bronze medal by sweeping Chery Tiggo, marking their 19th consecutive podium finish.
