The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) and ISON Tower Ltd. Inc. signed a memorandum of understanding to lease PHLPost properties for the installation and operation of telecommunications towers.
The agreement was formalized during the Philippines-India CEO Forum, attended by key officials, including DICT Secretary Henry Rhoel Aguda.
This partnership aims to upgrade telecom infrastructure to support 5G and future technologies while aligning with PHLPost’s digitalization and modernization goals.
ISON Tower will also rehabilitate PHLPost branch offices hosting the towers to improve public service facilities.
The collaboration highlights the role of public-private partnerships in enhancing connectivity, especially in underserved areas, amid growing trade and tech ties between the Philippines and India.
