Both leaders affirmed strong diplomatic and people-to-people ties, with Marcos encouraging greater Singaporean investment in the Philippine renewable energy sector and implementing a carbon credit mechanism aligned with the Paris Agreement.

They also discussed a planned bilateral health agreement and support for Filipino healthcare workers in Singapore.

On ASEAN matters, the two committed to closer coordination ahead of the Philippines’ 2026 chairmanship, emphasizing unity, multilateralism, and regional economic integration.
