Team Philippines, led by 16-year-old captain Lance Gregorio Bolipata, triumphed at the 12th Robotics Championship International Competition in Oradea, Romania, securing two gold medals and two bronzes.
Competing against 126 teams from nations such as China, Egypt, and Ukraine, the Philippines impressed judges with robots crafted alongside E-rovoutika Robotics and Automation Solution.
Bolipata excelled in AI-powered Trash Segregator, Yofi Bolifata in Medical Robot, and Louise Carlo Solomo and Gillian Atienza in Humanoid Robotics, earning top honors.
The team clinched gold in the Humanoid Robot Challenge and Freestyle Open, plus bronze in Freestyle High School and Mega Sumo Robot Challenge categories.
Grateful to the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI) for unwavering support, Team Philippines celebrated their remarkable achievements on the global stage.
