PHILIPPINES BECOMES HUB FOR INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S GOLF IN 2026

The ICTSI Philippine Ladies Masters returns for its second edition on Feb. 4-6 at Summit Point Golf and Country Club in Lipa City, Batangas, serving as the official opening leg of the 2026 Taiwan LPGA (TLPGA) Tour.

The $200,000, 54-hole championship will feature top Filipino professionals alongside elite golfers from South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.

Summit Point, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., challenges players with replicas of 18 iconic holes from world-famous courses, demanding strategic precision and adaptability.

Last year’s champion, Kim Kayoung of South Korea, returns to face a stronger international and local field, including reigning Ladies Philippine Golf Tour Order of Merit winner Sarah Ababa.

The event highlights the Philippines’ growing prominence in regional women’s golf, offering a platform for players to compete at a high level and gain international exposure.
