The Philippine Football Federation (PFF), FIFA, and the Puerto Princesa Football Association officially launched the country’s second FIFA Arena on Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Ramon V. Mitra Sports Complex in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
The all-weather quarter pitch with artificial turf is designed to provide children and teenagers with a safe and accessible venue to develop their football skills.
The launch also introduced FIFA’s Boots for All program in the Philippines, which distributed 500 pairs of football boots to young players, along with a FIFA Medical Session for Children focused on health and emergency response.
PFF President John Anthony Gutierrez said the initiative brings together opportunities, access, health, and child welfare while helping develop grassroots football.
The Puerto Princesa Football Association also announced free Saturday training sessions for children across Palawan as part of efforts to develop young players in the province.
