The Department of National Defense has called on US authorities to investigate and prosecute those responsible for a “disgusting act” involving a video.
The video shows a man resembling President Marcos holding a small plastic pack with a crystalline substance and was presented at a rally by the group “Maisug” in the US.
Presidential Adviser for Poverty Alleviation Larry Gadon dismissed the rallyists and their sympathizers as “pathetic.” Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin also dismissed the video as malicious.
Authorities are urging swift action to address the incident.
