Philippine Airlines (PAL) was recognized as Asia-Pacific’s most punctual airline in 2025, achieving an on-time score of 83.12 percent, according to aviation analyst Cirium.
This marks the first time PAL topped a region usually dominated by carriers such as ANA, Singapore Airlines, and Japan Airlines, with the flag carrier leading punctuality for five months of the year.
Cirium tracked 116,628 PAL flights, noting that most passengers arrived at their destinations on time, with flights arriving within 15 minutes of schedule considered punctual.
PAL’s closest competitor in the region was Air New Zealand with a 79.29 percent on-time rate, followed by ANA, Singapore Airlines, and Japan Airlines.
The airline is set to strengthen its leadership with new aircraft deliveries, including the Airbus A350-1000 and A321 jets, expanding its long-range and regional fleet.
