The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) opposes suspending Bamban Mayor Alice Guo a state witness, citing her direct involvement in illegal Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) activities.
PAOCC spokesman Winston Casio stated that evidence implicates Guo in operations at Zun Yuan Technology Inc. in Bamban and Lucky South 99 in Porac, Pampanga.
Casio emphasized that Guo appears to be one of the primary culprits in human trafficking and scamming activities linked to these firms.
Additionally, the Office of the Solicitor General has filed a petition to cancel Guo’s birth certificate and plans to file a quo warranto petition to challenge her right to public office.
Solicitor General Menardo Guevarra clarified that the quo warranto petition is independent of the birth certificate cancellation case.
