PAOCC HIGHLIGHTS FILIPINO INVOLVEMENT IN SCAMMING RINGS

The government crackdown on illegal Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGOs) has revealed that some Filipinos have taken over scamming operations previously run by foreign operators.

Remaining Chinese POGO operators have broken into smaller groups to evade detection, according to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

A recent raid in Biñan, Laguna uncovered a dismantled POGO facility, with key evidence missing.

Authorities are racing to shut down all POGO operations by the end of the year, as mandated by President Marcos.

The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) urges the public to report suspicious activities and urges property owners to ensure they aren’t renting to scam operations.
