Malacañang has declared special non-working holidays in five municipalities this June to mark their founding anniversaries and festivals.
June 16 is a special holiday in Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur, for its 69th founding anniversary, and in Cagayan de Oro City for its Charter Day celebration.
June 21 is a holiday in Laurel, Batangas, for the town’s 56th founding anniversary.
June 24 marks a special holiday in Lian, Batangas, in honor of the Sambuhos Festival.
Lastly, June 25 is a non-working day in Sadanga, Mountain Province, for its 62nd founding anniversary.
