Pag-IBIG Fund declared a record-high P55.65 billion in dividends for its members’ savings, marking the largest payout in the agency’s 44-year history.
The dividend rates for Regular Savings climbed to 6.6%, while the Modified Pag-IBIG 2 (MP2) Savings rate increased to 7.1%.
President Marcos praised the Fund’s continued success in empowering Filipinos to achieve their dream homes, highlighting its growth and commitment to serving the public.
Pag-IBIG also reported a net income of P67.52 billion for 2024, a 36% increase from the previous year, and surpassed P1 trillion in total assets.
The agency’s Chairman, Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar, emphasized that the dividends reflect the Fund’s exceptional performance and strong financial standing, exceeding the legal dividend requirement.
