The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) reported that 148,000 individuals were apprehended for violating local ordinances in Metro Manila during the first 24 days of 2025, resulting in PHP42.3 million in fines.
The most common violations included smoking and drinking in public (51,278 cases), roaming shirtless (15,788), curfew breaches by minors (15,699), and illegal garbage dumping (15,483).
Other offenses included road obstructions, karaoke misuse, vandalism, and traffic violations.
The Southern Police District led enforcement with 75,148 apprehensions, followed by other districts in Metro Manila.
NCRPO chief Brig. Gen. Anthony Aberin emphasized that the campaign aims to promote accountability and discipline, reinforcing the principles of the Able, Active, and Allied (AAA) policing initiative.
