DFA ANNOUNCES PASSPORT RELEASE DELAYS DUE TO MAINTENANCE

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has announced delays in passport releases due to system maintenance conducted by its service provider, APO Production Unit, Inc. (APO).

Recent passport applications made last week have been affected by system downtime, causing a few days’ delay in processing and delivery.

DFA advises applicants to contact their respective consular offices or foreign service posts for updates and to address urgent concerns.

They are working closely with APO to restore normal operations promptly and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
