Filipino-American singer Olivia Rodrigo recently appeared in Vogue’s “Now Serving” video series, where she cooked chicken lumpia and made a Paloma cocktail while chatting about her life and music.
She shared fond memories of learning about lumpia from her grandmother during Thanksgiving, and described it as “feel-good” food that’s savory and comforting.
While preparing the dish, Olivia teased her upcoming third album, calling it “very varied” and focused on joy, contrasting with the angsty themes of her first two releases.
The video also highlighted her creative process on tour and at home, as she compared herself to celebrity chefs while cooking.
Rodrigo’s previous album, Guts (2023), included hits like “Vampire” and “Bad Idea Right?” and led to her first sold-out performance in the Philippines in October 2025, with proceeds benefiting Jhpiego Philippines.
