Major oil companies, including Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, Caltex, and PTT Philippines, will raise gasoline and diesel prices by ₱1.20 per liter today, continuing the seventh consecutive week of gasoline hikes and the fourth for diesel.
The price adjustment is driven by tightening supply and strong regional demand, according to Jetti president Leo Bellas.
Kerosene prices remain frozen under the national state of calamity declared due to recent tropical cyclones.
Bellas added that price increases may stabilize as refinery operations resume from seasonal maintenance, while Western sanctions on Russian oil continue to add upward pressure.
Year-to-date, gasoline and diesel have increased by ₱19.70 and ₱24.05 per liter, respectively.
