Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin administered the oath of office to Michelle Mae Gonzales, the new commissioner-at-large of the National Youth Commission (NYC) on Friday.
Gonzales was appointed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on August 12, replacing Laurence Anthony Diestro.
She will serve a three-year term on the NYC, which oversees youth-related policies and programs.
The commission is tasked with formulating and reviewing youth development programs, establishing dialogue mechanisms, and linking with government and non-government organizations.
Malacañang has released photos of Gonzales’ oath-taking ceremony.
