Nonito Donaire is making his comeback to the ring on June 14 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to fight for the interim WBA bantamweight title.
The 42-year-old four-division world champion will face Andres Campos of Chile, who is 14 years younger and holds a 17-2-1 record.
Donaire returns after nearly two years out of the ring, with his last fight a loss in July 2023.
The WBA arranged the bout after the previous champion was designated “champion in recess.”
Meanwhile, Manny Pacquiao is also preparing for a return fight in July against WBC welterweight champ Mario Barrios in Las Vegas.
