Globe Telecom and the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) have launched a Proof of Concept for Silent Network Authentication (SNA), a next-generation verification method designed to reduce OTP-related scams and enhance customer security.
The system allows real-time network-level authentication without requiring SMS codes, streamlining digital transactions while protecting users from fraud.
SNA is part of Globe’s G Verify portfolio, leveraging network intelligence and secure APIs, and has completed technical validation with BPI’s test application.
Both companies highlighted that the initiative demonstrates their commitment to safer, seamless, and frictionless digital experiences for Filipino users.
Globe plans to expand the technology to other financial institutions and e-commerce platforms, aiming to build a more connected and secure digital ecosystem.
