Las Piñas City Mayor April Aguilar led the blessing of a new patrol boat and utility vehicle for the City Agriculture Office to strengthen fisheries law enforcement and coastal monitoring.
The patrol boat will enhance the city’s ability to respond to incidents and disasters, as well as support tagging of mariculture structures and geotagging of coastal boundaries.
Mayor Aguilar emphasized its role in regular monitoring of waterways, aiding fisherfolk, and protecting marine resources.
These new assets are part of Las Piñas’ ongoing efforts to promote environmental protection and disaster preparedness.
The city government continues to support programs benefiting the local fishing community.
