The Muntinlupa City government inaugurated its Road Safety Park in Tunasan village as part of the city’s 31st Cityhood Anniversary, aiming to promote safer and more disciplined road use.
Established in partnership with the Department of Transportation, the park provides children with hands-on learning through traffic simulations, mini road networks, pedestrian lanes, cycleways, and road sign installations.
Mayor Ruffy Biazon emphasized that road safety education should start early, teaching youngsters respect for traffic laws before they obtain a driver’s license.
The initiative also involved local advocacy groups and officials, highlighting community collaboration in fostering road safety awareness.
Biazon said the park offers experiential learning to help prevent future accidents and instill responsible road behavior from a young age.
