AirAsia Aviation Group is set to launch over 30 new routes in 2025, with the Philippines as a key market, to strengthen regional and domestic connectivity.
CEO Bo Lingam said the airline aims to optimize its network by increasing flight frequencies in high-demand areas such as India, China, and Southeast Asia.
The expansion is supported by the reactivation of 16 aircraft and the delivery of 14 new planes this year.
AirAsia Philippines will also boost its Taiwan service from 14 to 17 weekly flights, reinforcing its goal of making air travel more accessible.
The airline’s growth strategy aligns with its planned acquisition by AirAsia X Berhad, positioning it for a stronger and more sustainable future.
