The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) will screen 50 popular films from the past five decades for only PHP50 in select cinemas from September 25 to October 15.
This initiative, titled “Sine Sigla sa Singkwenta,” celebrates the 50th edition of the MMFF, according to Romando Artes, the acting chair of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
Artes emphasized that the screenings will allow both new audiences and long-time fans to revisit these beloved films on the big screen.
In addition, a hand-painted mural showcasing iconic actors and actresses from MMFF’s history has been unveiled along EDSA, serving as a tribute to the filmmakers and artists who have shaped the festival.
Movie schedules and details about participating cinemas can be found on the MMFF’s official Facebook page.
