Megawide Construction Corp. has been awarded a P1.2-billion contract to build the Baguio City Integrated Terminal (BCIT) project, a transport hub similar to Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX). The project aims to decongest traffic in Baguio City, a popular tourist destination. BCIT will house 400 buses and cater to 25,000 passengers daily via seven southbound routes. The project is expected to be operational by 2027. Megawide previously built PITX, which contributed P217 million to its revenues in the first semester.
