A standout feature of Mayor Belmonte’s presentation was the Migrant Resource Center, a remarkable one-stop-shop that serves as a hub for all essential services catering to the needs of OFWs.
This initiative provides comprehensive assistance throughout every stage of the OFWs’ migration journey, from pre-departure preparations to their eventual return.
Additionally, Mayor Belmonte presented the e-Habilin program, which specializes in the well-being of OFW children.
Through this pioneering initiative, the local government ensures that these young beneficiaries receive the care, support, and services necessary for their optimal development and prospects.
Recognizing the importance of preparedness and empowerment, Quezon City guarantees that both OFWs and their families undergo essential pre-departure orientations and financial literacy seminars.
