MARCOS SIGNS LAWS FOR HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT, AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT REFORM

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. signed three new laws aimed at improving public services and addressing key issues in the Philippines. 

The laws focus on expanding healthcare access, bolstering environmental protections, and enhancing local government functionality. 

One of the newly enacted laws includes provisions for better healthcare benefits, while another strengthens regulations for waste management. 

Marcos emphasized that these measures are essential to improving the quality of life for Filipinos and ensuring sustainable development. 

The signing reflects his administration’s ongoing commitment to addressing critical social challenges through legislation.
