The Department of Labor and Employment, in collaboration with the Manila Public Employment Service Office, launched its Special Program for Employment of Students, aimed at providing job opportunities for students during their summer vacation.
Mayor Honey Lacuna and Vice Mayor Yul Servo congratulated the first batch of recipients during a contract signing and orientation in Ermita.
The initial batch will assist the city government and barangay officials in distributing stipends for senior citizens.
Additionally, the “Kalinga sa Maynila Peso Job Fair” in Sta. Ana continues to accept applicants, offering 2,000 job vacancies for high school graduates, college students, and technical-vocational course graduates.
The Kalinga sa Maynila program, launched in 2022, aims to connect job seekers with local opportunities.
