The Las Piñas city government will launch the “Bakuna Eskwela” vaccination program on July 31 to provide free vaccines for students.
The initiative targets students in Grades 1 to 7, offering immunizations against measles-rubella and tetanus-diphtheria, while Grade 4 female students will receive the HPV vaccine.
Mayor April Aguilar encouraged parents to have their children participate in the program, which will run until August 29.
The City Health Office, led by Dr. Julie Gonzalez, will conduct the vaccinations at CAA Elementary School and other school grounds.
Aguilar assured the public that all vaccines administered are safe for the students.
