KARL ELDREW YULO WINS SECOND BRONZE AT JUNIOR WORLD GYMNASTICS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Filipino gymnast Karl Eldrew Yulo won the bronze medal in the horizontal bar event at the 3rd FIG Junior World Artistic Gymnastics Championships held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City. 

Performing sixth in the final, Yulo executed a flawless routine with a stuck landing, earning a 0.1 bonus for a total score of 14.0 on 5.1 difficulty and 8.8 execution. 

This marks Yulo’s second bronze medal in the competition, after previously securing one in the floor exercise on Sunday. 

Colombian Camilo Vera claimed the gold with a score of 14.533, while American Danila Leykin took silver at 14.233. 

Yulo’s double-medal feat highlights the rising talent of Filipino gymnasts on the world stage.
