Veteran Filipino actor Joel Torre has been cast in the upcoming pan-Asian crime series “kiDnap Game,” a co-production involving Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong.
The series will be filmed across seven Asian cities, including Manila, and features an international ensemble cast led by actors such as Kentaro Sakaguchi and Lee Joon-gi.
Torre will portray Miguel, a taxi driver living in poverty whose grandchild is kidnapped, pushing him into a desperate situation.
The project also includes actors from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand, highlighting its regional collaboration.
“kiDnap Game” is set for release in October and will be broadcast and streamed in 18 countries and regions.
