Isko Moreno announced the release of ₱688.9 million in city-funded allowances and benefits covering the second quarter of 2026 for teachers, students, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, solo parents, and uniformed personnel.
The funds include ₱158.8 million under city ordinances, ₱452.4 million in monetary allowances, and ₱77.8 million in Department of Social Welfare and Development social pensions, benefiting more than 359,000 recipients.
Distribution of the benefits will take place from July 8 to 11 and July 22 to 24, with senior citizens enrolled in the DSWD program receiving an additional ₱1,000 monthly social pension.
Teachers, police officers, firefighters, jail personnel, Grade 12 students, and students from the city’s public universities are also included in the payout.
Moreno said the city remains committed to managing taxpayers’ money responsibly while continuing to provide timely assistance to Manila residents.
