Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno responded to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s remarks suggesting he oversee national housing projects, saying the President was joking, but he appreciated the compliment.
Marcos praised Domagoso’s housing programs, including the recently inaugurated 20-story San Lazaro Residences, and expressed interest in learning from his approach.
Domagoso highlighted both horizontal housing in Baseco and vertical housing projects like San Lazaro as models that could be shared.
The mayor reiterated his commitment to serve Manila for all three terms if the people allow, emphasizing his intention to stay in the city for the next decade.
The San Lazaro Residences offers 382 residential units with two bedrooms, one bathroom, and full living, dining, and kitchen areas.
