Police have launched a manhunt for former presidential spokesman Harry Roque, following an arrest order from the House of Representatives’ quad committee.
PNP Chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil confirmed that special tracker teams, led by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, are working to locate Roque.
The arrest order stems from Roque’s failure to submit subpoenaed documents linked to his assets, which lawmakers suspect may be connected to illegal offshore gaming operations.
Roque denies being a fugitive and plans to seek judicial relief from the Supreme Court.
The PNP, alongside the NBI and Bureau of Immigration, is committed to carrying out the arrest while ensuring due process and respecting human rights.
