Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI), the liquor arm of San Miguel Corp., posted a net income of ₱2.3 billion in the first quarter of 2026, up 9 percent year-on-year.
Revenues rose 3 percent to ₱16.7 billion, while gross profit increased 11 percent, driven by better pricing, lower raw material costs, and improved production efficiency.
Operating income also climbed 15 percent to ₱2.8 billion as the company continued to expand its market share despite a challenging economic environment.
GSMI said its strong performance builds on record results in 2025, when it achieved its 12th consecutive year of volume growth and sold 51 million cases.
The company also credited brand campaigns, product expansion, and ongoing investments in operations and supply chain improvements for sustaining its growth momentum.
