The Supreme Court (SC) and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Philippines have launched an implementation survey as part of their project to modernize Philippine courts through digital innovation.
The survey, launched on June 30 at the SC Session Hall, will assess current laws, court processes, and the SC’s eCourt PH system to identify areas for improvement.
The project aims to digitize court operations by converting paper records into electronic files and training court personnel to effectively use new technologies.
The eCourt PH system, targeted for full implementation by April 2026, will enable virtual hearings, electronic filing, and real-time case tracking to improve access to justice.
KOICA experts shared initial survey findings and outlined goals to enhance data accessibility and support meaningful judicial reforms.
