While House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez and Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales Jr. remain optimistic about progress before President Marcos’ next State of the Nation Address, the lack of Senate enthusiasm casts doubt on the initiative’s success.
